Thank you for considering St. Robert Catholic School for your family! The decision of where your child will attend school is one of the most important decision you will make for them. “While there are alternatives to Catholic schools, there are no substitutions,” said Bishop Walkowiak of the Diocese of Grand Rapids.
At St. Robert, our mission is to provide a premier Catholic education that empowers every student to develop into the individual God created him/her to be through a culture designed to nurture each student’s relationship with Christ. We will do this, in part, through the intentional teaching of traditional and spontaneous prayer, weekly Mass attendance, Eucharistic adoration, Sacramental preparation, and through the study of our Catholic virtues.
Along with the Catholic experience, students will explore and learn about their world following a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) curriculum that meets the Diocesan educational requirements. Students will identify problems in their current environment, and later in our community and world, and investigate ways in which these problems can be solved. They will show understanding and high-level thinking through projects, portfolios, journals, and formal assessments. In the early grades, we will combine the whole-language learning that comes naturally with STEM and phonics to ensure our students are not only great thinkers and problem solvers, but great readers and writers as well.
